KEYS N KRATES ANNOUNCE ANTICIPATED FOLLOW-UP MIXTAPE TITLED ‘ALMOST 39 MINUTES’
Includes Live Remixes With Drake, Michael Jackson and More

As the close to their successful three-project music series, Toronto-based trio, Keys N Krates announce the release of their much anticipated mixtape, Almost 39 Minutes on November 1, 2010.

Keys N Krates’ 3-piece concept of real-time remixing was innovated by group members DJ Jr Flo on turntables, Matisse on keys and Adam Tune on drums applying their unique aesthetic to original tracks and cultural anthems via turntables, samplers and musical instruments.

With their debut music video for their “Unforgettable – Remix” featuring Drake receiving high acclaim from critics, KNK follows by releasing a continuous mix, this time taking on classic throwback hits from Aaliyah, James Brown to Michael Jackson. The remix trio also plays with their version of Drake’s “Money To Blow” along with a wide variety of dance tracks and more.

Keys N Krates are making a preview the “Drake” track off the Almost 39 Minutes mixtape available now for download.

    DRAKE
KNK’s remix of Drake’s “Money to Blow” is masterfully blended emphasizing a bottom heavy kick and drumline feel, laced by Drake’s familiar hooks and verses.

Have to admit, this one started out kinda slow, and you almost lost me. Definitely picked up at around the fifteen minute mark though!

Very Very clean mixes which are always good!

      Keep it up man!

      Cheers for the feedback bro…

Admittedly, the whole UK Funky thing seems a bit hit and miss with US cats (Boy Better Know, K.I.G., etc), but hey it’s all good…
