Black Nails – Kid Sister x AC/DC x Nujax (Beat Resonance Mash)
This track was originally included as a short section on the Beat Resonance mix Selectricity, but didn’t have an actual mashup to go behind it. So I decided to get off my ass and produce one for it. It’s pretty straightforward, you got a jackin sort of fidget remix of AC/DC’s “Back In Black” by Nujax, coupled with the vocals from Kid Sister‘s “Pro Nails”. Tha Steez’s 1st Mixtape -> Kool Beanz
This is our first mixtape. Solid fanbase building in Columbus… Tha Steez is reppin Ohio to the fullest, especially the state capital, the PartyColumBUS! However, we’re also deep with SlabUp crew from Cleveland. For about a year ShyF.A.M.E. was Chip tha Ripper’s main photographer. Mid West Heff is one of Kid Cudi’s best friends from highschool to this day. We’re bridging the gap between hood music and hipster music, on our own terms like no one before us.
We have that Club-Hop vibe akin to Spank Rock or OH SNAP! With some Trouble Andrew on top. I’d love to get some constructive criticism from all the music experts out there. Our next mixtape is entitled The Partybus, themed towards combining smart-yet-vulgar party raps with only Bmore-bombs and the heaviest Fidget-House. We will also be shooting a movie to coinside with the Partybus that will chronicle how Columbus merges all types of nightlife: hood, hipster, thrash, anything goes.
I think this mixtape does a good job of covering the newest tracks/remixes but from all genres: Bmore, Electro, Indie, Rap, slow, fast, new, and old. Being Tha Steez’s DJ, I [DJ GEEKDOUT] mixed and mastered this compilation, so I’m looking for your input!
