This track was originally included as a short section on the Beat Resonance mix Selectricity, but didn’t have an actual mashup to go behind it. So I decided to get off my ass and produce one for it. It’s pretty straightforward, you got a jackin sort of fidget remix of AC/DC’s “Back In Black” by Nujax, coupled with the vocals from Kid Sister’s “Pro Nails”. Add in a few effects and some extra bass and voila. Ready made mash for ya!

2009 started with the inception of a new project for Dub D & Nemo, who formed the duo Beat Resonance in February of that year. It started with the idea that if we infused the heavy bass anthems we were already dropping on dance floors all around the Midwest, with recognizable hands up in the air vocal hooks and sick flows, we might be able to bring together club-goers with contrasting musical tastes underneath our massive sound!
2010 is now upon us and the formula, while ever-evolving, stays true to the initial structure. Now with the experience of several club appearance under their belts, they have refined a signature sound which means when you come to a Beat Resonance show you are definitely going to hear tracks and edits that you won’t hear anywhere else and are sometimes even one night exclusives.

Got a quick Bootleg Remix of one of my favorite tracks from around a decade ago. This remix uses the original album version as a basis and also follows the original format fairly close (don’t mess with a good thing). Stripped the bass out of it, extended the intro/outro, and added original synths and basslines. It’s also got some added beat and is sped up to a dance tempo.

Another Mashup coming to ya from Beat Resonance (Dub D & Nemo). This one combine the 1-2-3 pounding beat of Disco Dodo by Lynx with the rhythmic vocal styles of Busta Ryhmes. I’ve loved the track Disco Dodo since it came out about a year ago, and of course Busta is classic!

About a week ago Tittsworth released a remix on his twitter feed that he and Reed Rothchild had put together. I decided while listening to it that it just wasn’t CRUNK enough. So born out of a want to play this track out, and a need to not get laughed out of the booth is this Mashup.
