Let’s Go (K@z Remix) – Calvin Harris feat. Ne-Yo [Re-Mastered and Re-Mixed]
I posted the original one I did a couple weeks back. Not very good at describing my music but I’ll give it a shot. Used a lot of the samples along with my own beat. I retworked (if thats a word) all of the samples to give the song a different kind of edge while still keeping some of the basic sounds from the original song. I added some stuff to the original remix I posted because I felt like it wasn’t enough so hope you enjoy the song because I had fun making it! It’s downloadable of course.

This is a mix with some of the new music that I’ve been digging. I tend to mix really unknown sounds with some more commercial stuff but I’m really looking to make things work sonically and not focusing so much on appeasing a particular niche. Regardless there’s a ton of incredible music out there and it was a fun challenge to put this together. To all of the producers and remixers thank you so much for your talent and work. Because I made a ton of edits for the project I put them together as a pack and have included in this post. Hopefully some of you have a use for them because I know I’ve taken a ton from this board and would love any way to give back.
I made this mix using the newish serato –> ableton export. I like the idea in principal but I’m not sure I’m going to do it again – just because of the difficulty in glitching things post because nothing is gridded, and the fact that some audio fidelity seems to be sacrificed when you go through the pre channels in ableton. Any thoughts?
