Don’t be thrown by the concept.  I composed this entirely-Wu (-originals/-remixed/-sampling/-blending) mix as an homage and unique wedding gift to my boy from Staten “Shaolin Land” Island who’s huge on his hometown heroes and just tied the knot here in the new year of ’010.  But get beyond (over? even *into*?) the cheeky tracklisting scheme and a topical, tongue-often-in-cheek customized intro–listen closely to that bit–and this is a megaton, high intensity, supreme density, short-burst package for any Clan or generalized rugged beat enthusiast.  Check the wordplay, genre interplay and amalgamation going on amongst sounds known, new and now affiliated that make this a durable and deadly musical alloy forged from elements of raw hip hop, grinding dubstep, low-swinging wobble, popping Bmore and energized breaks.  Needless to say, this is no casual stroll down the (a)isle.
