Okay, so a little bit of shameless self promotion here. It’s T-minus 2 weeks until Mad Decent ends their 3 week remix contest for O.N.E. by Yeasayer. I just posted my remix on their contest site–after reading the rules, the contest is all about popularity and how well the producers themselves can promote their work. I’m a little behind… only 1400 votes, but I’m about to promote this remix hard. I’d love a little help from Trick Go patrons. Head over to my page on their contest site to vote.
Voting is limited one time to machine, but don’t feel like you can’t tell your friends as well.

Started a new blog, so I’m getting it off the ground looking for some steady followers, or even just one-timers. As the blog gets going and I get more used to it, there will be one, or multiple posts a day. It will focus heavily on new electro and dubstep productions, but is really more about what my followers send me, and what I find that arenew and a good productions.
Currently, I’m breezing through the top tracks and albums of 2009. One category every two days with miscellaneous posts in between. While the blog is only 4 posts old, i’ve gotten some great feedback. All tracks are down-loadable and you are able to listen to then in full on the site. If you want to stop by, I expect the blog to be in full swing by the new year with multiple bloggers and daily updates. We want to serve you and be your first stop for new music. Thanks everyone.
Ayo and mornin,
Been a while since a tune dump. Been changing things up in my life a little bit, but I still love finding time to mess around with producing. Hope they bang and give you all some good days ahead. All links are Mediafire. Picture is from Tinypic. Here we go:
Hide and Seek (DJ Beebs Dubstep Remix) – Imogen Heap (320kbps — 140bpm) — Been listenin to Watchu Say by Jason Derulo way too much on the radio and I wanted to try to make something that didn’t just bastardize Hide and Seek. Yeah, I know Rusko has a remix out there or it, but I like this one too. Tried to keep the integrity of the vocals there through the whole song.
I Gotta Feelin’ (DJ Beebs Electro Remix) – Black Eyed Peas (320kbps — 130bpm) — I hate the Black Eyed Peas… but I DJ in Ithaca where all anyone listens to is top 40s. It kills me that the only reason they liked it the first time I played it was cuz of the vocal behind it, but I like the track. Kept the bass drum hard and used some compressed cymbals for extra kick.
Searching for a Lost Source of Gold – DJ Beebs (320kbps — 128bpm) — Another original. Some vocals thrown in too. Definitely not like other stuff I’ve made. More creepy and airy, but I think the bass and synth still have some solid backing to them. Yeah, that’s me doing the vocals… don’t judge.

Have a good day everyone.
Hope everyone is well, and had a great holiday. Sending out three tracks here spanning the genres of electro and dubstep. Enjoy.
What will it be Without us? (Epic Dubstep Re-Work) – DJ Beebs – This originally was a song I made back in 2004 and is on my CD SSV. I love the synth, and thought I should take it into the present day. The beginning starts off airy and ambient and works its way into a fantastic buildup at the 2 minute mark. Wait for the bass to kick in, and then it all comes together with some nice shuffly hats and the synth gets brought back in. Loved working with this track again.
Proper Lofi (DJ Beebs Dubstep Remix) – Chris Clark - Chris Clark is an experimental hip-hop producer that I found many years ago. Proper Lofi is my second favorite track on his album Clarence Park that came out in 2001. It’s unlike anything I’ve heard before. Turned it into a dubstep remix, and I feel like it works well.
American Boy (DJ Beebs Electro Remix) – Estelle ft. Kanye West - Well, you can tell by the title what you’re getting with this one. A DJ Beebs remix of American Boy. Dark, heavy bass electro. Four-to-the-floor bass drum driven track. Pump it up and enjoy.

Huge new original tracks here.
We Make Bangers – DJ Beebs — “If a Song is extremly tight or just unbelivably awesome, It is a banger.” (Urbandictionary.com) yeah, I just quoted Urban Dictionary. A good track to use as an example of things to come. Electro. 320kbps.
Thunder and Lightning – DJ Beebs — Yeah, thunder and lightning is an extremely generic title, but I love this track, and for some reason really like the name. The buildup and breakdown take up the majority of this track, but I think it’s huge. Electro. 320kbps.
Here’s the “Button” pic I photoshopped together. The original button said “I <3 Bangers and Mash”. Changed it up.
I hope you guys enjoy these. They’re my first original electro tracks. Some people were wondering about previews for the tracks like on Zshare… I have an account with Media Fire and love it, + Zshare is poopy with long downloads, so you can just go preview my songs at Myspace.com/DJBeebs if you want.
Hope everything is good with everyone,
Get the only two remixes of Lady Sovereign’s new single ‘So Human‘. A capellas straight from the studio, no bootlegging here. As you know, So Human is a cover of The Cure song Close to me, so the remixes are both called ‘No Cure’ because they don’t use anything from that song. Straight up a capella and original DJ Beebs.
So Human (DJ Beebs ‘No Cure’ Remix Part One) – Lady Sovereign — Hip-Hop electro feel. Was trying to get something along the lines of H.A.L. by Sebastian, but ended up getting a cross between that and some Flying Lotus almost. Short song, I enjoy it none the less. 92 BPM , 320 Kbps
So Human (DJ Beebs ‘No Cure’ Remix Part Two) – Lady Sovereign — Electro feel. Was trying to go for a MSTRKRFT sound, especially some of JFK’s remixes, and it’s kindof there, but it strayed a little. Unique, fun sound. 130 BPM , 320Kbps
Advanced (DJ Beebs Trance-Step Remix) – Marcel Woods — Here’s the Jewel. Taking Marcel Wood’s original cut of Advanced and turning into a dubstep song, or as I’m calling it, Trance-Step. My god is that epic synth killer. Disgustingly good whether you like dub or not. This is a speaker breaker. 135 BPM , 320Kbps
What’s up everybody?
DJ Beebs here sending you the latest tracks. These are 3 songs I’ve been working on for a while with high energy and creativity. Definitely worth a look.
(Disco Bitch – DJ Beebs) – The first original song by DJ Beebs. Heavy bass driven dubstep. Turn the bass up in the headphones. 130BPM, 320KBps
(Fancy Footwork (DJ Beebs Chiller Mix) – Chromeo) – Clean and simple electro remix of Fancy Footwork by Chromeo. Play it, and you wont be able to stop bouncing. 130BPM, 320KBps
(It Is What It Is (Ft. Homeboy Sandman) – DJ Beebs) – This acapella comes straight from Elmhurst, (ILL)inois’ Homeboy Sandman. Saw him spit it live in Brooklyn a few weeks ago and it killed. I took it and turned it into an electro banger. His flow is impeccable and I loved working with it. Settles on 130BMP (No Shit), 320KBps

But wait, there’s a story too.
So, I had my first gig in NYC this past weekend at the INC Lounge at Time Hotel. It was great until 3 hours in when I started to build up my energy and play some electro mashup stuff. I was so sick of playing Hip-Hop that I really needed to play some electro. Well, 30 mins into that the bar promoter came up to me and told me to go back to Hip-Hop. I wasn’t happy.
Kinda my fault becuase I went into it too quick when I should’ve played more housey stuff first. Still, had to play another three hours of Hip-Hop. Great. I can’t count how many Lady Gaga and Britany Spears requests I got. All I wanted to do was play something harder… but I wanted to get paid too. Dilema.
So here’s my pissed off mix for anyone who’s ass fed up with Top 40′s shit as I am.
