AyPersKay- Hip Hop Hooray Mixtape
Hip Hop Hooray, the second album from Mashup Artist AyPerskAy (Chicagoan Aaron Persky) is set out to celebrate Hip Hop, and try to help prove that Hip Hop truly is everything. This 17 track, 42 minute mashup album is different from other popular mashup albums like Girl Talk’s “Night Ripper” or E-603′s “Torn Up” because unlike those albums, Hip Hop Hooray is intended to be played any time, not exclusively for parties. Although there might not be as many samples used in Hip Hop Hooray (averaging 4 or so per track), the idea of the album is to use samples that might not be expected, ranging from The Beatles to System of a Down to Mary Hopkins to Ludacris and back.
